Supervision is the process of being with a skilled, experienced and wise person who respectfully, caringly and honestly supports a worker to reflect on their work in a meaningful way, learn and grow as a worker in the context of working with their community

at Hobajing Practice, that involves me providing a safe space for you to reflect on your own, other’s and the organisation’s accountability and responsibility. It’s a work conversation that happens as a reflective practice in a no blame environment where you are encouraged to be brave and curious and if comfortable and necessary, share your true feelings and worries without fear of interrogation. supervision is offered as live sessions in the Gundungurra/Tharawal (Robertson NSW) office, every 5th week in person along the Robertson – Dubbo – Bourke run, or by phone or Zoom or Teams which may require updated technology and access to the internet. Appointments are available as early as 10am Australian Eastern Standard Time (or Daylight Savings from October to April) and can finish as late as 8pm.

Cost is $185 per session for up to sixty minutes and payment is required prior to appointment. Supervision is not covered by private health care and there is no discount for holders of of a current Australian Health Care Card. As a Level Four Counsellor, and Clinical Supervisor with the ACA, I can provide a receipt for ACA members to claim sessions towards their annual Supervision requirements.

what to do next

click here to read more in depth info on sessions, confidentiality etc and note that no information regarding any session at Hobajing Practice will be provided to anyone other than the client, even if the Employer is paying for the services. When you are ready to book a session, the process is like this ..

  • request available session days and times (by phone or email), include preferences if you have time / day limitations
  • i will send you a list of times, a consent form and an invoice
  • when you have chosen a time, please text or email so I can set it aside for you. Prior to the appointment, please fill in the consent form (it’s by dropbox link so you don’t have to send anything back) and pay the invoice
