Phantom Group League
Offline for six weeks
The Phantom League is Group Therapy without the appointment. Over the course of six weeks, Participants get to know a Guest and share and contribute their experience and strategies in how to deal with the Guest. As interaction is through comments and contribution only, there is no live communication. The next round starts on SUNDAY, MARCH 3rd 2019 and the Guest is ANGER. Click here for General League details and here for the specific Anger Round. To participate you will need to be able to read English at around the year 10 level. You will also need to access to up-to-date technology on your computer or smartphone and the knowledge on how to use it.
The Phantom League is an offline workshop that builds on the same principle as Phantom Ten Pin Bowling. You are part of a team of up to eight participants contributing each week to the creation of a Collective Narrative Document. Individuals can access the platform at any time and are asked to make at least one contribution and comment per week
Over six weeks, participants are introduced to a topic, for example Aging, Shame, Anger, in the form of a Guest, who helps them share their unique knowledge and experiences. All forms of expression that can be added to an electronic document are encouraged, for instance writing, drawing, lyrics, photos etc and Participants are encouraged to contribute, comment and otherwise build on their knowledge. As the Moderator, I support all Participants with their contributions and encourage completion of the tasks.
The end result is a Collective Narrative Document of the special skills and knowledge of individuals and how they sustained themselves through difficult times which can be used as a future tool in managing the Guest.
